Free Printable Dinosaur Coloring Pages for Kids

Every dinosaur coloring page on this site is hand-drawn from real paleontology journal references — not stock clip art. Plate counts, limb proportions, and the latest reconstructions (feathered raptors, sail-backed Spinosaurus) are all on the page.

Why our pages are different

Coloring is the easy part. The science is the point.

Most free dinosaur coloring pages online are decades old or traced from cartoons. The fossil record has moved on. Velociraptor had feathers. Spinosaurus had a paddle tail. Triceratops had a keratin sheath on its frill. Our pages reflect the current consensus — so a kid colors what paleontologists actually think the animal looked like.

Every dinosaur coloring page in our library is drawn from a published reconstruction or skeletal mount. Each weekly pack includes two scenes per dinosaur: a friendly cartoon for younger kids, and a true-to-fossil illustration for older explorers.
